RESEARCH ANALYST

Euromonitor International – Eastern Europe seeks a Research Analyst to work on a full time basis from a Vilnius office reporting on consumer goods markets in Poland.

Our data and analysis is published and sold worldwide to leading corporations, governments and Universities via online subscriptions.  We also have a large Consulting group to develop ad hoc information projects.

Job Description

Reporting to the Research Manager, and working closely with the other members of the Country Research team, key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of the research to ensure the highest possible quality of output
  • Developing close contacts across FMCG industries to ensure a strong depth and breadth of insight into market performance and trends
  • Primary and secondary research
  • Data manipulation
  • Recruiting, training and developing field-based research team
  • Commissioning projects to field-based research team
  • Responding to both in-house and client queries
  • Assessing and improving overall product quality

Research Analyst Profile

Required Skills

  • The ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Organisational skills in order to structure the workload in the best possible way
  • Numeracy, with an ability to interpret, analyse and present statistics in an interesting way
  • Good report writing skills and an excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with consumer goods markets in Poland
  • Fluency in oral and written Polish language is essential
  • A confident manner and strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivation

Chosen candidates will be required to complete numeracy and writing test as a part of the selection process.

Required Experience

A strong background in economics, marketing, and/or market research is desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, demonstrate a can do attitude, be able to work independently and be tenacious in their pursuit of information.
