Are you an experienced Firmware Testing Engineer with a passion for ensuring the highest quality in software products? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team. With over 5 years of experience in firmware testing or a similar quality assurance role, you will play a crucial part in our software development process. If you have a knack for problem-solving, scripting using Python, and a strong understanding of industrial protocols, we encourage you to apply. 

 

Firmware Testing Engineer 


You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products,
  • Creating and executing test plans, documenting test procedures,
  • Identifying and reporting issues,
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements.

We require:

  • Language: Fluency in English is a must,
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Firmware Testing or a similar Testing/Quality Assurance role.
  • Scripting Skills: Demonstrated excellent scripting capability using Python.
  • Methodologies: Working knowledge of software test methodologies and experience with automated test tools.
  • Problem Solver: Must be a proactive problem solver with the ability to identify and address software issues efficiently.
  • Tools: Experience with Jira and qTest for issue tracking and test management.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in Version Control systems, especially GIT.
  • Industrial Protocols: Knowledge of industrial protocols, such as CIP (Common Industrial Protocol).
  • Technical Documentation: Proficiency in creating Technical Documentation, including Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Procedures.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with RAtools, RSLinx, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, RSLogix 5000, and RSlogix 500 is a plus.

  • A short video call or phone call with our Partner’s HR Business Partner to check in depth the alignment between you and values and culture of the Company. Financial negotiations are welcomed :)
