Forge&Frost HR Consulting is looking for a Production Manager for its client a company specialising in the design and production of tradeshow booths and the production of furniture and interior design. The role would be to become part of an international team.

The company has offices in Berlin, Las Vegas, Dubai, and New Delhi, while the main office and a 7,000 sqm production unit is located in Zielona Góra.

Production Manager (furniture industry)

Location: Zielona Góra

Salary:  15 000 zł - 20 000 zł brutto UoP

Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring high-quality furniture production
• Define the departmental production plans for the "3D Texture" product line
• Monitoring the implementation of the set production plan, ensuring its efficiency and continuity
• Planning of employees' work schedules
• Ensuring correct health and safety working conditions (BHP)
• Reporting and analysis of the performance of an intelligent, automated production process
• Motivating employees to improve their professional competences and qualifications
• Communication with other company departments

Expectations:  

• Experience in the furniture industry - furniture production, and in a similar position
• Practical and broad knowledge of modern methods and techniques of furniture production
• Ability to organise and plan production, including practical knowledge of Lean Production principles
• Knowledge of and experience in working with modern software (Intelligent Manufacturing System -ISP) and machinery (such as: industrial panel cutting machine, single head CNC machine, industrial hole-making machine, one-sided edge banding machine, conveyors and conveyors, vacuum press)
• Knowledge of and skill in implementing the automation of production processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and architectural plans
• Team leadership skills
• Self-directed work and very good at planning and organising your own and your team's work
• Category "B" driving license
