SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER (AUTOMOTIVE) KRAKÓW

For one of our key business partners we're looking for three candidates for the position of Senior Android Developer.

Conditions of engagement:
 

Industry: Automotive

Location: 100% remote (here-now and after)

Start: ASAP (but we can also wait for 3 months)

Salary: 165 - 185 PLN net / hour (to be determined)

Employment: B2B (with NEXT), full-time, only long-term (stable 12+ month project)

Recruitment process (100% remote):

- phone-interview with our recruiter (10 minutes)

- presenting your candidacy to the client

- interview with a potential supervisor (Project Leader) + technical verification (90 minutes)

- (optional) an interview with the end client

- decision to start cooperation

• Design and build an advanced application for the Android platform
• Design and develop aplication by using Backbase platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and working on optimizing them at the code level
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

• 4 years of development experience in Android App Development or Mobile App Developer.
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Strong knowledge of Google’s Android design principles and guidelines
• Experience with Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with various testing tools
• You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
• English level required: B2+ (international team)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, CI/CD
• Experience with Backbase platform
• Good time management skills
