FINANCE & CONTROL MANAGER ŁÓDŹ

For the Łódź branch of the international company, the leading global supplier of parts for vehicles used in agricultural, production and construction industry, we are currently seeking Finance and Control Manager.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop the financial team of 3 specialists;
• Manage Year and Month-end processes and the Year End preparation of Financial Statements;
• Yearly & monthly Group reporting;
• Monitor and supervise preparation of tax, legal, regulatory or internal reporting;
• Make assessments and recommend processes how to optimize various risks;
• Approve tax, regulatory reports and risk management activities;
• Give advice for regular or new business activities from various financial aspects;
• Maintain appropriate system of internal controls and reporting;
• Provide guidance and support to other functions to optimize business risks;
• Select and maintain relations with external counterparties and providers of services for financial area;
• Approve payments, purchases, contracts, and expenses in line with DoA;
• Performing the function of compliance officer, monitor GPDR;
• Cooperate and support Transfer pricing files and MDR.

CANDIDATES PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

• Master`s or Bachelors degree;
• At least 8 years of experience in finance, at least 3 years on the similar position with full responsibility for finances (both accounting and controlling), preferably in a mid-size commercial, or a production and commercial company operating on international level;
• Fluent communication in Polish and English (at least B2 level), both spoken and written;
• Experienced in working with senior & executive management;
• Ability to work under pressure and to monitor deadlines;
• Good and updated knowledge of the Polish tax system and related regulations;
• Practical experience with ERP systems;
• Advanced skills in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
