Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term role? Protocol Education is working with a supportive and welcoming school in Southend-on-Sea to recruit a talented teacher for a full-time maternity cover position.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing school environment where staff are valued and supported. While initially a maternity cover role, there is potential for the position to continue beyond the fixed term for the right candidate.

The Role

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2.
• Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment, marking, and parent communication.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils' academic and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams.
• Contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Ability to commit to a full-time position for the duration of the maternity cover.
• Willingness to undertake full teaching responsibilities.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
