What you’ll be working on…

Set the strategy for Flex

• Set direction for one of Monzo’s most important revenue-driving products
• Identify and unlock new commercial opportunities across customer segments
• Navigate complex trade-offs between growth, risk, and customer outcomes

Drive commercial performance

• Work closely with Credit teams to shape propositions across multiple risk segments and cohorts
• Interrogate performance deeply — from unit economics to long-term profitability curves
• Identify and drive new commercial opportunities

Champion the customer

• Ensure Flex remains rooted in strong customer outcomes, not just revenue
• Push for simple, transparent, and delightful experiences

Build and lead a high-performing team

• Manage and develop a team of Product Managers
• Deliver multiple high-impact initiatives through your direct reports

Commercial Thinking

• Strong commercial instinct — you think in terms of trade-offs, economics, and outcomes
• Experience in lending, credit cards, or adjacent borrowing products

Consumer Focus

• You start with the customer never lose track of their needs

Execution & Leadership

• Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced environments with multiple workstreams
• Strong cross-functional leadership across technical, credit, and governance stakeholders
